Shadows of Nevermore, Mixed Media class for Adults and Teens

Step into a world of mystery and atmosphere in this dramatic acrylic mixed media class for adults and teens.
Inspired by the haunting atmosphere of classic Gothic literature, you'll create a striking silhouette of a lone traveler with a creepy red eyed raven perched upon his shoulder, illuminated by dramatic rays of light that pierce the darkness behind him. A long cast shadow and subtle highlights bring the scene to life, creating a painting that's both elegant and eerie—perfect for the Halloween season.
This project is designed for all skill levels. You'll be guided step by step through simple techniques to create glowing light effects, dramatic contrast, and a finished work of art you'll be proud to display long after Halloween has passed. We’ll be using acrylics, a printout of the silhouette, scissors, glue, colored pencil, and a red oil pastel.
All supplies are provided. Come enjoy a creative evening and discover just how captivating light and shadow can be.

Location: Tooele Parks and Recreation Building. 255 S 100 E, Tooele. Park in the back of the building & enter the classroom. Please note the front doors will be locked.
